Dr. Alex Thiel was born and raised in Michigan. After a year of school at Michigan State University, she moved to Ridgefield, Washington to live on her family’s farm. There, she earned her B.S. in Biology from Washington State University. She has recently graduated with her DVM from WSU’s veterinary school in Pullman! Dr. Thiel enjoys working with all patients, especially exotic pets and wildlife critters. She is passionate about working closely with clients to provide the best care possible for their furry (and not so furry) family members. Dr. Thiel is a new resident of the Olympic Peninsula and is enjoying all the outdoor wonders it has to provide. She loves the small-town feel of the area and is excited to join the community! In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, reading, and hiking. Having traveled to South Africa and the UK during school, she hopes to travel and explore new places soon. Dr. Thiel lives in Sequim with her cat, Whiskey, and corn snake, Albus.
