Front Staff:
Kimberly Gibbons, Hospital Manager
I have been with Greywolf Veterinary Hospital since November of 2004. Originally from Port Townsend, I have been a resident of Sequim for the last 15 years. I have a 20 year old daughter and have had many foster children over the years. I have 2 dogs, 'Kurt' an Australian Cattle Dog and 'Bodi' a Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix. I also have 2 cats, 'MissMem' and 'KikiGigi', and 2 cockatiels, 'Killer' and 'Romeo', all rescues. In addition to my responsibilities here at Greywolf, I also serve on the Animal Issues Advisory Committee. In my personal time I also enjoy competing in Rally with 'Kurt', volunteering with Gentle Paws (Therapy Dogs) and occasionally judging horse shows.
Any comments about co-workers?: I admire Dr. Maya Bewig's dedication to perfection, always striving to 'dot her i's and cross her t's'. I think Dr. Jennifer Tavares' always upbeat personality is wonderful, making stressful days more livable.
Vickie Anderson, Receptionist
I have been with Greywolf for about 1 year. I grew up on cattle and horse ranches in Eastern Montana and Idaho. When I wasn't sleeping or eating, I was on horseback. My little 'Mamma Kitty' would catch shrews in the barn and leave them for me in my boots---sometimes still alive! I have lived in or visited almost every State west of the Mississippi River. I have 4 pretty terrific children who are all grown--or think they are adults! One daughter is married and has a daughter of her own, Emma Rose, who is, of course, the cutest baby in the world! As for pets at home, I have 1 cat, Lily, the rescue kitty from Greywolf. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching my favorite TV shows.
Any comments about co-workers?: At work, I really admire all the techs who have to do the "dirty work" and still have so much empathy for the patients.
Darcey Turner, Receptionist
I have always had a love for animals, especially my own little Chihuahua, Angus, and my cat Angel. I am a mother of 2 great kids and I enjoy camping, family get-togethers, gardening and photography. A native to western Washington, I have lived in Sequim for over 25 years and in addition to being a part of the Greywolf family, I am a part-time sign maker in my husband’s sign company. My favorite part of my job is meeting all of the clients and their pets. I love all of the knowledge I am gaining through working here.
Any comments about co-workers?: I admire Dr. Mike Tyler for how personally interactive he is with clients and patients and Dr. Bewig for her subtle sense of humor. Dr. Tavares is very knowledgeable and great with the patients. Dr. Aubrey Schaeffer has such and honest compassion for her patients and a fabulous personality. She has such a gental disposition. Kimberly Gibbons is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Renee Damon is very friendly and patient. Vickie Anderson is thorough, knowledgeable and witty! Liz Lauermann is professional, friendly and a good soul. Dannika Swanson and Amy Gentilo- I love these two! They are so helpful and both have a great sense of humor! Jennifer Allman is always willing to help, an absolute work horse and always willing to do whatever is needed.

Nursing Staff:
Diana Wright, Licensed Veterinary Technician
I have been part of the Greywolf Family since September 2003. I started in veterinary medicine as a kennel assistant and then decided to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Virginia Community College in 1993 and have enjoyed the profession ever since. I moved from Virginia to Sequim in June 2000 to join my mother, Jean. While I love all types of animals (she has been a vegetarian for years ), I am definitely a "cat person" and have adopted many feline friends over the years. In my personal time, I enjoy music, watching movies, camping and I am a "Survivor" addict!
From her co-workers: Diana has a kind and compassionate heart. Any animals in her care are referred to as "My Sweet." She has a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She is a joy to clients and staff alike. She is truly and asset to our staff and a pleasure to work with.

In her words: "I love my husband, my boys, my dogs and laughing and not necessarily in that order . My recent enjoyments have been attending the graduations of my youngest son from Boise State University and my oldest son from the Police Academy. He is now a Deputy Sherriff in Kootenai County."

Amy moved to Seattle from the Sequim area and then moved back to Sequim just before she started working at Greywolf. Amy's hard work and drive to advance her career in Veterinary Medicine stems from a deep love of all animals. Their health and well-being is of the utmost importance to her. At home, she has 2 Guinea Pigs, Charlie and Cheeto, and a black lab named Jasmine.
For fun Amy likes listening to music an watching movies. She loves 80's music and her favorite movie is "Buffy the Vanpire Slayer."
